Role Profile:

The Sales Team Manager is responsible for a strong and dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will work to deliver and exceed targets through team motivation, coaching and performance management. They will have a strong focus on meeting and exceeding client expectations and have a high drive for continuous improvement and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage a team of sales professionals, to achieve optimum performance on the account.
  • To evaluate performance outcome against target and react accordingly.
  • To successfully motivate and inspire team performance, including appropriate use of available incentives.
  • To effectively manage resource within the team, maintaining ownership and responsibility of the sales team including team budget, attendance, performance, and cost per sale.
  • To communicate effectively at all levels ensuring excellent working relationships are developed and maintained in the Contact Centre.
  • To implement and maintain effective working practices in a team environment ensuring that all Contact Centre standards are maintained.

Key Skills / Experience Required:

  • Strong proven ability to manage a high performing sales team within a Contact Centre environment, ideally B2B
  • Proven experience in developing and improving processes and procedures to ensure a superior service is delivered to customers
  • Experience of working in an outsourcing environment would be desirable
  • Proven ability to drive quality/performance improvements through effective analysis of individual and team results and performance management techniques

Package:

Up to 24k basic + up to £4.5k bonus (achievable as it is linked to revenue), 26 days holiday (1 extra day per year up to 31 days), Company Pension, Flexi-benefit scheme and Healthcare cover.
