Avaya International Sales scooped the 2008 Best Contact Centre Supplier Award at the Contact Centre of the Year Awards, held in Kilkenny on Friday 21st November. Avaya received the award for its impressive project implementation over the past year.
In selecting Avaya, the judges cited customer testimonials and case studies submitted by the company, commending its quality of customer service and flexibility in tailoring solutions to meet individual client requirements.
Hosted by the Contact Centre Management Association, the awards celebrate best practice and service excellence in Irish contact centres. Now in their 13th year, the awards provide contact centres, help desks and customer service organisations throughout Ireland with the recognition they deserve for delivering excellence in the industry, which currently employs approximately 20,000 people.
Competition at the 2008 awards was higher than ever this year, with 29 companies shortlisted and more than 150 companies (a record number) submitting entries across the 15 categories.
Avaya offers IP telephony, contact centre, mobility and services solutions to a number of customers of every size in Ireland and globally. It also boasts a number of business partners in Ireland who sell a range of converged communication systems, software applications and services.
