Peak8 Solutions, a leading provider of technical support services for connected "smart" homes and digital lifestyle end users announced it has secured $5 million in funding from Lacuna Venture Capital and other firms. Existing investors also participated in the round.
The company said the new funding will be used to expand its product development activities and to increase marketing of Supportal.com(TM), its recently-launched Internet service which enables consumers to receive premium technical support and service assistance with any device or software they use in their digital lifestyle, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, online and through call centers.
