Contact centres in Sunderland will join forces later this month as part of a fresh recruitment drive to attract workers into one of the city's most successful industries.

With employers looking to fill up to 400 vacant positions, job seekers will have an opportunity to find out about potential career opportunities at the city's annual Contact Centre Recruitment Day which is being organised by Sunderland City Council and sponsored by Lloyds TSB.

While those jobseekers wishing to find out about training will be able to speak to people from the City of Sunderland College's Contact Centre Academy.
